This simple 2 ingredient recipe will totally blow your mind! The best chocolate ice cream I’ve ever had, no question. No added sugar, no bovine secretions, just lots of creamy beautiful chocolatey deliciousness. I’ve posted a few vegan ice creams now, it’s hard to pick a winner. But this is certainly the easiest and also one of the most nutritious. Lots of frozen banana and high quality raw cacao powder give you a massive boost of antioxidants and potassium. We adore this in my house.
Top Tip: slice your banana and layer between parchment paper before freezing for easy removal.
Preparation Time: 1-2 minutes in a high speed blender
Servings: 2 medium servings
- About 2 heaped cups sliced frozen banana- for me this is usually about 5 medium bananas
- 3 heaped dessertspoons raw cacao powder
- pinch Himalayan Salt ( optional )
- Add all ingredients to your blender, and blend on high using the tamper tool. If you don’t have a high speed blender, you may need to stop and start to move the mix around.
- Serve immediately.
